When it’s hot, elephants use their trunks to spray water on themselves.
Then they throw mud or dirt on their wet skin to stay cool and keep bugs away.

Elephants are great swimmers! They can swim for a long time and use their trunks like snorkels to breathe in deep water.

Elephants have a good memory.They remember where water is, even if it’s far away.Sometimes,they dig holes to find water under dry ground.
